Foam, powder, alcohol-resistant foam, water spray, carbon dioxide.
EXPLOSION Above 24░C explosive vapour/air mixtures may be formed.
Above 24░C use a closed system, ventilation, and explosion-proof electrical equipment.
In case of fire: keep drums, etc., cool by spraying with water.
EXPOSURE
PREVENT GENERATION OF MISTS!

  • INHALATION
    		• Dizziness. Drowsiness. Headache.
    		Ventilation, local exhaust, or breathing protection.
    		Fresh air, rest. Refer for medical attention.
  • SKIN
    		• Dry skin.
    		Protective gloves.
    		Remove contaminated clothes. Rinse skin with plenty of water or shower.
  • EYES
    		• Redness. Pain. Blurred vision.
    		Safety goggles.
    		First rinse with plenty of water for several minutes (remove contact lenses if easily possible), then take to a doctor.
  • INGESTION
    		• (further see Inhalation).
    		Do not eat, drink, or smoke during work.
    		Rinse mouth. Give plenty of water to drink. Refer for medical attention.
    SPILLAGE DISPOSAL STORAGE PACKAGING & LABELLING
    Collect leaking liquid in sealable containers. Absorb remaining liquid in sand or inert absorbent and remove to safe place. Wash away remainder with plenty of water (extra personal protection: A filter respirator for organic vapour).
    		Fireproof. Separated from aluminum and strong oxidants.

     COLOURLESS LIQUID , WITH CHARACTERISTIC ODOUR.

    CHEMICAL DANGERS:
     The substance can form explosive peroxides. Reacts with aluminum forming flammable gas (Hydrogen - see ICSC # 0001). Reacts with strong oxidants, such as chromium trioxide causing fire hazard. Attacks some plastic and rubber.

    OCCUPATIONAL EXPOSURE LIMITS (OELs):
     TLV: 100 ppm; 303 mg/m3 (as TWA) (ACGIH 1994-1995).
    MAK: 100 ppm; 300 mg/m3 (1995).


    		ROUTES OF EXPOSURE:
     The substance can be absorbed into the body by inhalation of its vapour and by ingestion.

    INHALATION RISK:
     A harmful contamination of the air will be reached rather slowly on evaporation of this substance at 20░C.

    EFFECTS OF SHORT-TERM EXPOSURE:
     The vapour of this substance irritates the eyes. The substance may cause effects on the central nervous system. Exposure to high concentrations could cause lowering of consciousness.

    EFFECTS OF LONG-TERM OR REPEATED EXPOSURE:
     Repeated or prolonged contact with skin may cause dermatitis.
